Christmas Gift Guide 2017
The holidays are right around the corner, so now is the time to start thinking about your gift list! I'm making it easier for you by rounding up some prime items that your friends and family will love. It's a good idea to get a head start on your holiday gift giving early because items will be more available and you'll be less stressed by getting things done ahead of time!
These gifts are perfect for your friends who love to pamper themselves. The Frank Body scrub is a cult favorite, so you can't go wrong. And if you've never smelled Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, prepare to be amazed (although all of their fragrances are next-level). Make-up lovers will always appreciate a pretty eyeshadow palette or classic MAC red lipstick too.
Buying clothes for people can be risky at times, but you can't go wrong with basic pieces! I have the Spanx leather leggings and they are the most PERFECT pair of leggings I've ever worn - flattering, comfortable, and they go with everything. These studded mules from Forever21 are also adorable; they're trendy yet unique with the stud details.
Gifts for the home are always fun to give, because people can use them often. I always find the best things at Anthropologie! I have the coasters below in a seafoam green color, and I'm obsessed with them. Cute coffee mugs (like the ones listed below) are always well-received. I have the Corkcicle bottle and it would make the perfect gift - keeps beverages hot or cold and can fit an entire bottle of wine. ;)
Buying presents for your guy isn't always the easiest thing; boys typically don't love to shop...so you do have that to your advantage! Upgrade your mans wardrobe and get him looking stylish with a few of my picks below. The blue Paul Smith ombré scarf below is a worthy splurge that he would look adorable in. A new pair of sneakers like the Adidas listed below is always a great gift go-to. You also can't go wrong with a fresh pair or eyeglasses or sunglasses - Warby Parker's are my fave for men or women!
I absolutely love shopping local when I can. There's something extra special about giving or receiving a one-of-a-kind item that's made by a local artisan. Pictured below is jewelry by Austin-based jewelry designer, Nina Berenato. All of her pieces are so gorgeous and unique - I especially love her rings, but she also has a variety of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more. They come in gold, silver or rose gold.
Monthly subscriptions are becoming super popular and are a perfect gift idea. Whether it's a wine club, food delivery, or lifestyle items - it's the gift that keeps giving. I subscribe to Birchbox, Ipsy, Bootaybag, and now Vellabox! Birchbox and Ipsy have beauty items, Bootaybag is undies, and Vellabox is an artisan candle box. I'll definitely be gifting a few Vellabox's this year - I've never met someone that doesn't like candles, so a candle subscription seems like such a unique and fun gift to give. Use my code TAY17 to get $5 off your own Vellabox!
